Server preparing geometry

icarus warning: teleort EQS failed for mount loop server
When i login to my server i get a loop on "preparing geometry"
Only reliable way to make server usable is to restore backup.. any advice?

The usual fix for being stuck at "Preparing Geometry" is to spam the movement keys ASDW and/or Space Bar.

If the above fails roll the save back to the last backup. That is the 2nd solution that works.

The infinite Preparing Geometry screen usually means the game can't place your character in the world proper (usually this happens when you log off whilst in your bed, on a couch, or next to a bench or so) - that's where the 'spam WASD' comes into place: it'll move your character around a bit, and once it can be placed in the world proper, the game continues to load.

If moving doesn't work, you can wait until your character dies from lack of food/water/oxygen (the game continues to run whilst you're looking at the Preparing Geometry screen) - you can do a corpse run after you've respawned.

If you don't want to have to do a corpse run, you can reload an older save; you'll lose some game progress though, but at least you won't have to do a corpse run.

any idea why my server no longer makes l.backup files? it was making them every half hour before but it has not made one in some time

Ran out of space? Is overwriting ones that were there already?
Check the config make sure that did not change. Even if you know it was set correctly last week update has a small chance of changing it.

I have been playing with my friend on a server. And every time I tried to get the purple reward stuff and the other rewards, my character has not been receiving any of the rewards, but my friend has been why is that? And even when he's off line, I've tried to send rewards up, I still haven't got any rewards and I've been losing a lot of rend that way.
