Game crashes when i eat 2 pieces of salted dried meat.

That's a generic memory overflow generally. What are your system specs? Have you noticed anythign else weird?

if it's an older model nvidia gpu, switch off of the game ready drivers if you haven't already.

huh, i have my ram clocked at 3877 or some crap like that
their 2 sticks of 16gb. 4000mhz G skillz
sadly ryzen does not allow me to run theses at normal speeds
im gonna restart and look into bios

nothing there screams issue. though i feel like that's a little warm, but I'm not as familiar with amd cpu temps.

right, but nothing else does it? just dried meat? if you remove the buff after eating the first one, does it still crash when you eat the second?

also went into bios, changed FCLK ratio to AUTO and DRAM Target Freq to 3800mhz

its the second piece that gets me lol
i did not cancel the buff
ill try with cancelling buff
cancelling buff and eating 2nd piece does prevent crash

I'm actually getting this same crash in SWidget too, when opening my inventory. Just started happening today, which is the really odd thing.
Mine is when I eat cooked meat.
O.O
just regular Cooked Meat
either directly from my inventory, or if I eat it from my quickbar, the crash happens the next time I open my inventory.
I'm gonna try on a fresh drop with mods disabled. You know, just to be sure 🙂

Well if it is a mod causing it nothing the devs can/will do. Look around if this was a wide spread issue others would report it correct? Do as Zenethian has done and remove mods and test. That should be the very first thing you do with things like this. Followed by verifying game files.
Weekends tend to be quiet around here so hope this information can help.

I can’t really explain it but I didn’t change any mods and this stopped happening to me today.

If your using a mod manager, it should update them, it just could've been the in between game updating and modder getting their update out

Okay well others are not having the same issue so good chance it is on your end. Have you verified game files?
Rollback the save? Backup current save and just Test a backup. Something is wrong the guy above solved it removing mods.

Well again roll the save file back and see if the current save is bugged. This is for players to help each other if you want to report to the devs head to #bug-reports or escape menu in game.
