So in your mouse settings, what is your "polling rate" set to?
not the DPI but the polling rate itself
it should be something like 125hz, 250hz, 500hz, 1000hz
im not gonna lie im not to like familiar with like that type of stuff on my pc i just recently got it
where can i check
it's ok. what brand of mouse is it?
logi
a G series gaming mouse?
yes wireless
Do you have the Logitech G Hub software installed for it?
i do not
Ok I'd recommend that first, just to see if that helps, because you are probably just using a generic mouse driver
Lets maybe shift focus to some other settings we can check first.
What kinda CPU and video card?
okay thanks ill download that
my cpu is an amd ryzen 5 7600 6 core
and video card 8gb 1080p
ok. In Icarus, what graphics settings do you have set?
im on 60 frames fov 90 and everything set to medium
Are you running in DX11 or DX12?
i believe 11
OK. You can check that by right clicking on the game in your Steam Library, go to Properties, and choose Selected Launch Option
yeah i've been playin on 11 could that be why?
okay
medium settings should be okay
could it be my monitor?
i downloaded the software
When you get the G Hub software installed, check this on your mouse settings:
Logitech calls it a "Report Rate"
set to to 250 or lower.
nope
okay
that's just how fast your mouse moves. the reporting rate is how often your mouse tells your CPU it has moved.
A lot of games get overwhelmed by 1000hz
yep lets give it a try
so far so good it only happened once
you are the man, thank you brother
