or does crafting it out of limestone actually create a different texture/colour ?

They appear in the codex so i assume this is a bug and the tech tree are linked to the wrong building pieces.
The above pieces have no way to craft them

Okay, so there's some debate about whether it's a reskin or supposed to be explicitly making concrete pieces, just with a new recipe. apparently the reskin was the initial plan, hence the field guide, but may have changed. Devs are looking into it.

Ahh well the tech tree and the field guide are very misleading if its just an alternative recipe. Got all excited for an alternative T7 storm piece 🤣

even if it's "just" an alternate concrete recipe, it's still pretty nifty. I've been using it for a base.

Yeah I'm not finished on Prometheus yet so completely useless until i move over to Elysium
Just to clarify, the steam announcement explicitly states it is a new building set as well as limestone being used in crafting alternate sets for glass, steel and concrete.
So i assume something got missed along the way
