There are so many reasons that could happen. Based on the information provided not sure anyone can give you solutions. Would be like telling the doctor your belly hurts over the phone and expecting them to know what is causing it.
Could be your PC is not meeting the Requirements, likely RAM requirement. So given there was no RAM left free the PC tries to free some but it results in a crash. Game needs 16GB RAM Free. So you should have at least 24GB or more RAM on your PC. Remember Win, Steam and any security software all use RAM so having only 16GB is never enough.
If your Win OS is not updated can cause you issues.
If your Graphic Card Drivers are not up to date can cause this.
Could be you just Verify your game files through Steam to fix corrupted data from last update.

I would follow the method in #bug-reports to report this. I seen a Dev ask someone the other day with crash issues if they had AMD. So there may be a known issue there but if the Devs do not use AMD they could have issue reproducing and fixing it. Sadly they have to see what is going on to know how to fix it.
Sadly I have seen many folks using AMD struggle with different games. I am a Nvidia user for that reason.

I hope that helps lead to a permanate fix. When you do the bug report try to share your Specs as found through Steam.
Steam Library look to the top to HELP/SYSTEM INFORMATION. That will go a long long ways to them being able to sort this I am sure. Most devs want to solve these sort of issues but with all the hardware differences out there it is hard.
