As you see here, the Oxite Dissolver is placed. For the bio-cleaner, no biofuel was needed, but just in case I loaded the Dissolver with Sulfer and Oxite. I've tried relaunching, verified files, and abandoning and restarting the mission. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

Hey CK, have you tried placing it in different parts of the Base the game created? maybe that might work. I am not sure never had that issue.

Indeed, placed it all over.
Just checking though, the game didn't create the base, I did. That was part of the process I had to complete ("Build an observation outpost").

don't get me wrong I have had a few issues myself with this kind of thing just not this one. I am surprised though that one of the Dev's haven't seen this or someone who has had the issue. I had a simular mission or maybe it was this one that I could not place the same damn device, but if so I can not for the life of me remember how I fixed it.

build a 2x2 wood cabin next to the concrete or replace the whole concrete building with wood pieces and try to place the oxite dissolver only.
