I would also like to clarify whether there is a solution to the problem - ore drilling, in some areas, resource cells have been replaced. Where sulfur should be, aluminum is mined, and silicon, platinum is mined, and vice versa. Screenshots are attached.

the fact is that one day, you come to a mine, there is one resource being mined, for example, I had copper*, for a while, I decided to go and collect the resource. And to my surprise, it changed to stone. It's also interesting.
there's a bunch of that in Nullsec, it's great (in a wtf kinda way) depending on how you move your reticle you can see all the different nodes, and use the deep ore scanner to see all the ore that shows up.
What's really fun is if you can fit more than one drill on the same spot. Weird things happen then though.
I don't use an ore scanner, I actually look at the drilling point. And if I see a problem, then it should be fixed.
And what does it mean that I can install more than one drill bit at the drilling point? It's impossible.
Hi @tired sapphire , I had a similar issue... depending on the angle you would look at the deposits, they would indicate different ores that can be mined.
I could get the resource i wanted eventually by picking the drill up again and placing it from different angles. (it always snaps to the same place, but eventually it drilled the ore I needed...)
@timid shoal interesting...🤔
