I keep getting a crash issue for "running out of memory"
but my pc is over spec for this game and only suffer this issue on this game, ive tried to turn graphics etc down to no avail, also ive tried stress testing my gpu no issue and ran mem tests on my ram no issue, any help on this as ive spent to much time for a game refund! xD

yea, page file i upped still had the issue, i currently have 16gb of ram, but even checking on task manager it doesnt max out which is the weird thing

gpu also has 14gb of ram on it

You messed with the in-game memory setting too? Some people say over 5gb causes issues

ill double check it, having to re-install as removed it last night as put a refund in and got denied as i spent like 3 hours trying to sort it xD

yea, guess when its installed again ill pump it to 16gb pagefile? see if that works then also check the ingame ram

Yeah the error is for memory not vram, if you have slower ddr4 or don't have xmp enabled that might make the page file necessary

Yeah there are some optimizations in order, this week's patch might've made it worse for lower ram setups honestly

all low now, before was medium

so game ran " ok " for a fair while then had the same issue " ran out of memory while trying texture " something idk as i cant screen it as it locks up

but this time, it made all my screen go old res, something stupid, so.. possibly a driver issue? idk

as i had task manager open and nothing was maxed out so not 100% sure

I think the big issue here is that you have only 16Gb of Ram which is not really that much for this game, I would suggest trying to use Cortex from Razor. But I'd highly consider adding another 16Gb.

yea only thing is nothing maxed when it crashed, ram was at like 12gb of usage / 16 which is the thing getting me, as nothing was close to max

i tried to screen shot but would allow me untill i closed the game lol

Are you having this issue with an ongoing save? Or is it with every game you load? It is worth to verify the files as well

its when in game, so if i die and teleport to another area it does it

So it's an issue having to render an area fast, seems like its probably peaking your GPU/Ram when it tries to render stuff

try borderless and see if it mitages the issues with alt-tabbing even though you might lose a bit of fps

ok so now, again was ok for a while

"not a memory issue" but DWM crashed

also my gpu seems to have crashed with it

#

So it crashed and logged me out

on login, GPU isnt on

Sounds like a GPU problem, is it getting enough power? Is your GPU overheating?

power is fine unless psu is dying and temps are fine
