Dumb q: used to be if your buddy extracted from a prospect with your workshop items in their dropship inventory, it would be mailed back to you as a claimable lost item. Can't for the life of me find a changelog bullet for how this behaves now post de-centralization update...
Do we now lose workshop items unless we extract them ourselves in dropship inventory now?

yes, that's why they have your names on them now.
the old "mailed back" logic relied on a central server that everyone connected to regularly; that doesn't exist anymore, so there's no mechanism for it.

Thanks! I suppose that's fair but my reading comprehension is lacking then - didn't quite make the mental leap to knowing we should've swapped workshop stuff around before ending the prospect.

I don't know that it was ever explicitly said in the notes, but yeah, that's how it works.
Items now have the "Owned by:" tag to make that easier.

Right did see that change. Buddy and I were puzzled by what the Items Available to Reclaim or whatever tab in the character page where the only selection we had available was delete. Ah well. Lesson learned.

if you insure your drop, all the items can be reclaimed after 5 days even if they don't come back up with you.

Combine these two sections, and you could have understood you'd lose your items if you don't bring them up yourself.
But I've to admit, it's not that clear; you have to kinda read between the lines...
