how they corrupt:

• corruptive armor set.
  it sends out electrical-based hypnosis waves that cause the host to not be able to think clearly and fall victim to the parasites control. once the set is put on (due to lack of control to their own body), the parasite draws the life out of the hosts body and uses it to power itself and use the human's body for its own gain. it can either find a new host after all the life is drained or send an electrical zap to restore all the life taken, and then repeat the process.
