#BunnyPad - GSYT Productions

Did I specify a language?
Ok yeah I probably canβt use tbh
Uwp ok windows 7
Very og notepad
Wow nice
Regulay
Add transitions
Wow sister as co-developer? I can only wish my sister to help me in my code stuff.
I can offer publishing to ms store for free and putting your credits in the store listing. Winver UWP and the #floppa-projects to-do already do this. are you interested?
when you can afford your own store account then it can be transferred to your account retaining all data
ok
Amazing
Ooooo
@low wharf I set your AFK: BunnyPad Development on hold: MVP is stressed
explain
x64
UWP is an app model, you can run anything on top of it as long it follows the rules.
But with a language like Python, you're running inside an interpreter so if you want your code to run under UWP, you need an interpreter that runs under UWP. There's a Microsoft Store version of Python but that's not UWP, it's full trust.
If you just want Fluent design, you could be able to use XAML Islands and host it inside a classic Win32 window, consuming XAML APIs through PyWinRT.
idont need uwp. just msix

Yes
if im not overstepping
whos the best friend?
aaah
There is only one option
I mean, if you want me to review the app, it should've come with a twist, rather than just a notepad as I would say
hence why I avoid making videos too often is that it'll be feel too repetetive if I showcase many of them at once
spoiler alert ||many apps in here are about to be reviewed by me for the next couple months||
i mean, you made the poll lol
wait so it didnt have an icon earlier?
huh
I have figured how to port BunnyPad to the Microsoft Store without changing any of the code.
Two ways:
a) you wait for #1093834178673516615's #1093962235258351647 Capacitor technology to be built and then use the Fluid Migration Assistant to make BunnyPad automatically portable. (best option, takes no time)
b) you use py2exe to generate an executable file and then publish that to the microsoft store (does not/should not require a certificate). If Store does require a cert, then you can use Microsoft's own MSIX packaging tool to package the executable file to MSIX and upload that to the store.
@low wharf
the second method doesnt really create a uwp app
Yeah when I said UWP I meant store.
Is GSYT Productions LLC an actual company?
Because calling something a company when it's not actually a real company is very dangerous.
As in, formed legally?
Woop
Nice
cool!
maybe I could help?
adding in line numbers support etc.
Stop with the bunnypad ping thing or I will perform a gypsy curse that binds bunnypad to never have a channel and be indefinitely banned from Developer Sanctuary
Wait-
I'm not trying to be rude
It's called shitposting which generically speaking is the heart and core of Developer Sanctuary
oh, so you do have the line numbers like here? (btw I can rewrite it in tkinter if you need)
cool!
ok, cool!
I could make you some icons
and yes, that line number feature would be useful
if you actually want more users, add some different features too (it can be optional if you want it to, line numbers are optional in idle anyway)
ok
I could make a derivative of it written in tkinter tho
Bunnypad Linux out in 8 days
π yayayayay
omg wow
π
btw just compile it to exe using python 3.4 and run it
bcz reactos repots nt 5.2 kernel
cool!
I'm looking to fork the os, and bring some of my apps along with it...
compiling it is rly painful
reactos just cannot be compiled on a windows machine normally π
nice
native reactos
cool! π
are you using version control? basically what you should probably be doing is putting the code on github (which you have) but rather than just uploading the whole code occasionally, every time you make a change you push it to github, so all development happens right on github (github desktop makes this really easy)
that way, all changes are logged and you can revert them, you can make feature branches, the github repo always has the latest code and everyone can contribute
yeah, but are you using version control for the newer versions?
Or just use a Rectified Notepad
That shit is awful
Fuck Rectify11
no toxicity
banned from rectishit bc I typ to muc
Shut up
Rectify11 is good
You're the problem
Not them
You don't hold this server
FireCube does
And this just a fourm you opened
?
What?
I'm not arguing tho
I'm saying you're not admin
Nor owner
And even tho you opened the fourm
Admins still have the right to do what they need
k
Just sayin
This isn't even that problematic
And i don't think staff cares
GUYS. STOP. FUCKING. ARGUING.
This ain't a argument
At all
Stop trying to escalate it to one
Since I ain't doing any shit wrong
k
Do you want my CDN? No long URL, just Https://flare.esmerelda.tech
Is that a normal notepad or some editor?
Ohk
cool
Welcome to python development
right click to menu bar or the toolbar
idk about pyqt5 π¦
ok π
Okay, posting this...
Start of a new era?
@civic valve pulling you in since your old account was deleted, and you were here before that.
Finally, in v8, Print2PDF support comes. Promised in v2, all attempts corrupted the entire executable file. Now, it's stable.
137 itch.io downloads + 10 SourceForge Downloads + 3 confirmed Vichingo455 downloads... = 150 downloads π€―
v8 leak
Purple blue
Yeah that's for the extremely unstable versions.
Running on Windows 10 but it's 11
Trust me, it gets weirder in compatibility mode
This app cannot be tricked.
Cool!
wow, KDE Plasma on first photo
Yes
HELL YEAHH
New in v8:
- Updated Credits dialogue
- Revamped close+save dialogues
- Print2pdf Support
- Print Support
- Native Ubuntu and Debian Support (no installer though)
- Update Functionality*
(* = Tentative)
Update: Print Support will not be functional in v8
Another update:
Ubuntu-variant of BunnyPad is in the alpha stage and has been compiled.
Nice!
Thanks to Pydroid3 officially saying "heheha fsck you" and removing PyQt5, BunnyPad is officially coming to Android
W
"Do you are have the stupid?"
The dev team of Pydroid3... They must've found something more potent than what HP's laptop designers smoke
Somewhat related... Should I develop on this?
Democracy... Has fallen.
Yes join the protests
BunnyPad Stands For Democracy!
Hell YEAHH
I see that as a win!
(yes I do support Ivirius but I support democracy too)
Btw, can I make a report against someone who owns a server in the cube Union?
Yeah
DMs
What
Something about a server called Windows Support Community. Server owner there was being toxic
True
Some of those servers are...
...a bit weird
Like Windows Support Community, yeah
Discord moment
This ain't a Discord moment
That is someone being childish
That's cute π
Windows Server?
Yes
@graceful umbra yo, when did one of the OGs of BunnyPad get here? :0
i was here since ever lmao
#BunnyPadForDemocracy apparently was successful in helping return democracy
Update:
- Coming to Google Pixel 2?!
@elfin schooner what does this app have so special?
Does that even matter?
It's a project I'm doing for fun to improve my coding skills
Oh ok
I'm not doing it for money, clout, fame, or competition. I'm doing it because I want to.
Very nice
Me too lol
I have the same aims for my apps, basically
Because otherwise, I wouldn't even be coding outside of CS class π€£ π€£
It's not like I ever wanted fame, but now ig I have it
lol
Same here
I made my app for fun at first (like what normal text editor has a fucking console in it) but now I kinda make it for money idk
With me using pyinstaller, it's been console-less and single-file to help with the size
Otherwise, we talking about 100mb
Mine eating RAM for breakfast:
10 MB
ON STANDBY
Mine has the same minimum requirements as Windows 7 SP1
Not recommended, but tested minimum.
Mine has more requirements than Windows 11 π
512MB RAM, 20GB disk space.
Fun fact:
This notepad was made by accident...
Print Support is now functional!
I have in the 9k's π
Also, watch out for sussy ahh fake websites
They steal software and publish it without permission
Yeah we're already on TPB
Okay...?
On what
ThePirateBay
Which I actually find hilarious, someone's trying to pirate an already free software π
My antivirus went like: "you fucking piece of shit do you seriously want to die today?"
Wait
Lemme look up some stuff here
Expected
The real question is: can it run DOOM?
Bet

198 downloads! Let's go!
Bro's speaking in hundreds
Yeah ik
Sure, we don't have 1000+ downloads. Irdc about the numbers. If it grows slowly, it's better.
Reason why slow growth is better:
It allows me to enjoy each and every download
