#Cleric builds

I play solo and use club
So playing full melee kind of?
Yes, for me this works best because of aoe spells in guardian archtetype
And the 2 handed club also have aoe skill in R
can u show your build
But you play it more as DPS then? No healer or support?
You will eventually level up all classes because they give passive bonus when they are deactivated based on their level, so is best to use a build to level and do quests, then, when needed you respec to a healer/support focused build, because you can respec at any time and any place.
Makes sense. Still nice to have a general idea of what I would wanna play. As in what I should archetype specficially I should main to do the lvling etc
I like cleric, but it feels like if you wanna go cleric you have to do it melee? But a ranged scepter one would be fun I feel like
I tend to be a more supportive/tank player too, what I find more useful is take 2 classes to do damage and general solo stuff, and the third one I keep changing to keep them all leveled
being melee or not is based on the weapon you use
Yeah I know, but for example protection, is completley melee based right
So if you wanna do cleric build at the end let's say, you would probably be forced to go melee in one way or another
not at all, if you go full support you can keep distance and use a sceptre, but your damage will be useless, but you can use any weapon
Right, sure, but with protection, all damage abilities is full melee right. And you dont get too much damage from holy it seems or spiritual
if you are full support you will not care to take the damage abilities, but will take the banner, interrupt, defense shield
Right, but if you wanna go somewhere inbetween, you seem to have to go melee
And full support only seem to be useful in pvp so far? Or am I wrong? Havent played the game much so idk yet
There is boss fights that need healers and tanks.
I suggest you in leveling, go full might, take aoe abilities from warfare and protection, keep changing the third one to level
Right, we'll see. What's the best way to get a good scepter at like lvl 16?
I have a mace but want a scepter, the one i have is shite
From market place?
Also how come it is cheapest? No one like to play with it/support or heal?
I think the materials are cheap
Alright ill have a look
What armor should I go with if I decide to go support ish role? Like cleric
For the future that is
plate with wisdom
Cool
What does scepter scale off of?
attack + healing and primary and secondary attributes are random on craft
primary attributes scale up when infused
There is more stats that scale but I don't know yet which one, that is mid/late itens
Well I was thinking like the damage of the scepter itself, but is that only the weapon damage that does that?=
each skill has a scale, attack power (might), magic power (int) healing power (Wis)
Right right. Also how would even things like bard work? Like everything in archery scales off of attack power?
And holy/spiritual spell power
You can go 50/50 split or go all might when soloing and all wis when in parties. There is a softcap on attributes of 6 times your effective level. Your attributes will turn red when at the soft cap. At higher levels it is easy to softcap 2 of them and put some points in other attributes. I like Bard, but at an effective level of 28 I did not have as many points as I would like so I am Paladin (same rules apply with might and wisdom) until higher levels.
Yeah I mean I wanna play cleric and I am kind of but I dont really have any aoe etc
If I play holy and spiritual, should I just max out intelligenc?
Int for spell damage yes
go wizard for aoe + spirit + holy with int, then you can heal and even do some damage
Yeah makes sense I guess. I am just trying to figure out if scepter is viable for a cleric type build in general
But it seems like it wouldnt be
you can use any weapon of your choice since you can transfer any infuse experience to the new weapons 1:1 ratio
use hammer, protection, holy, spirit.
Well yeah, but protection damage (hammer) seems pretty bad
And if you do play hammer you would have to go might no? Meaning healing etc would be awful
i tried a hybrid build, might and int. Was pretty good and tanky
but i switched to sholar class. Pure int, sceptre, shield,. Holy, spirit, witchcraft.
Yeah i am doing a cleric version. Been good so far
Almost everyone is playing scholar if they go heal ish so
Find it borrning
Boring
Oh yeah Ik. Its just if you go hammer you have to go might right?
nope it doesnt matter if its a hammer or sceptre. Both need might for weapon dmg. If you go full int healer, hammer or sceptre doesnt matter, since weapon dmg is scaled from migh
im playin using sceptre
50/50 between vitality and wisdom
very tanky
but I only play with friends, they do the dmg basically, I help with some AOE
would be worth play as healer whit club?
What is your tree?
Scepter scales off Int. Please don’t spread misinformation.
When you look at hammer 1 hand shows wisdom and specter is intelligence that is correct
The only weapons that the auto attack scales with int are: sceptre, staff and Light Blade (adaptive)
because it is adaptive, it scales with might or Int
it depends if you have more spell power or more attack power, there is no tooltips but you can see at Patchnotes 1.0.3 they saying it is adaptive.
"Light Blade ー Fixed a gameplay issue with the Light Blade weapon where adaptive damage was incorrectly stuck on Spell Damage, ignoring Weapon Power when it was higher than Spell Power, resulting in reduced damage output."
just a doubt here guys, if i put my points 50/50 between int and might, the light blade will use both, right?
or still only one
the higher
its adaptive not dual scaling...
