You also have the rule of three for harmonic mixing too;
-Moving up one number (e.g., 4A to 5A, which is moving up a perfect fifth).
-Moving down one number (e.g., 4A to 3A, moving down a perfect fifth).
-Changing the letter while keeping the same number (e.g., 4A to 4B, transitioning between a minor and its relative major key)

You can move up or down 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 steps in Camelot. The A or B only really matters if it’s a large jump, like 5 or 7. You wanna make sure those sound ok.
I know that isn’t the conventional wisdom for Camelot but that’s my experience doing it forever and experimenting. That’s how I found 3.
