#Workspace deletion keeps being canceled

Title.

So what happened:

3 days ago I clicked on the "update database" button for my postgresql service. I noticed that it was bricked so i canceled the upgrade. The db kept hanging so I initiated a deletion. Said deletion kept hanging for hours on end, preventing me from doing any other action on that workspace. So I decided to delete the entire workspace. Lo and behold, when I "delete" the workspace it actually pops back up 5 minutes later in my active workspaces.

Workspace Id I'm trying to delete: 900d98ce-8ac2-425a-926c-ef3fa49c85f2

it's also a slow $ drainer (not much, just a few dozen bucks/mo i suppose) since not being able to delete the services -> automatically triggering new deployments even though we dont need this workspace anymore

only the bricked database service is left for deletion

#

still hanging for days on ned

Don't see the workspace deletion request

#

If you want to expedite it you can always go to the project link and click Delete Immediately

i requested the instant deletion (posting here for logging sake)

#

but i have a hunch it will be a reccuring issue

#

since its basically a db instance that refuses to be deleted

I think you’re confusing things, seems like you’re deleting the project, not the workspace.

well, regardless of the label, I just have issues deleting this db instance

I've escalated, this will be fixed. Sorry you are experiencing this

I have force killed the container, confirmed it was stopped, updated the deployment and deployment instance status, and then successfully deleted that service in the canvas.

You are good to go.
