Please help, I can't figure out how the file view and /Images folder work. The images don't download to the disk path when using Filebrowser. They also don't show up or update.

Have you set USE_VOLUME_ROOT to 1 in filebrowser?

#

oh it 0

bronze canopy
#

try setting it to 1 and see if that helps you

#

i will try

#

when i uploaded the image , retrieved it and made visible in the website but the issue is after re deploying my web all the images are gone.

from what I'm seeing, I'm assuming you want the images you uploaded through filebrowser to show up on your app after you've uploaded them

#

if so, make sure you've:

  1. Disconnected the volume from filebrowser and reconnected it to your app
  2. Mounted the volume on the right path /app/Images in this case

#

i need edit script this path /app/Images ?

bronze canopy
#

well if your app is trying to use the /Images folder then you need to mount the volume to /app/Images because your app itself is located in the /app folder

#

Filebrowser don't show up when upload image
i did mount the volume to /app/Images
and USE_VOLUME_ROOT is 1

#

if you're only using Filebrowser and not some other service as I mentioned before then you'll want to keep the path set to /data when mounted to Filebrowser

#

I'm confused on what you're trying to achieve here, mind explaining?

USE_VOLUME_ROOT is still set to 0

I'd just like to clarify that you need to set USE_VOLUME_ROOT to 1

I don't know what your question was but I still believe you're trying to upload images to a volume through Filebrowser and then have that volume serve as the source of images for your service, which if this is the case then you need to follow these steps:
0. (Make sure territory-volume is mounted to /data on Filebrowser

  1. Set USE_VOLUME_ROOT to 1, Brody mentioned it's still set to 0
  2. Wait for the service to redeploy
  3. Upload the images to Filebrowser, do not create folders or anything just upload the images
  4. Disconnect the Volume
  5. Mount the volume to VRCMedia on /app/Images
  6. Wait for VRCMedia to finish deploying
#

If you're trying to achieve what I think you're trying to achieve and followed my steps correctly then it this should work fine for you

bright badge
#

this 6 same territory-volume or new ?

bronze canopy
#

the same one of course

bright badge
#

then cant ... to VRCMedia

bronze canopy
#

Make sure VRCMedia is in a non-metal region (you can set the region in the service settings)

#

metal regions don't have support for volumes

bright badge
#

ooh....

#

already used

#

or i can change different service which bettre ?

hybrid coyote
#

try again please

bright badge
#

which again ?

hybrid coyote
bright badge
#

oh . work

#

i got it work i see image in Filebrowser
but this show me fail ....

hybrid coyote
#

thats fine, there is no volume attached so it crashes

bright badge
#

i let it forever ?

hybrid coyote
#

its served its purpose, you can delete it if you dont need it for now

bright badge
#

just i need check in Filebrowser for clean
and question railway have limite 5Gb that not many for me , i need more over 100 Gb ? any idea ?

hybrid coyote
#

5GB is the limit on the Hobby plan, for 100GB you would need to be on the Pro plan

bright badge
#

more then 100 ? for in future

hybrid coyote
#

on the pro plan you can self serve up to 250GB anything past that and we would have to talk to you about being on a custom priced plan

bright badge
#

alright , thank you many for help !

hybrid coyote
#

all good? any more questions?

bright badge
