How are referral credits applied?

My account has collected $530 referral credits so far? is there a way to apply these to my account? Not sure how to use this feature.

Oh, these are all pending. They will automaticaly apply when one of these members pay their first bill on the platform.

Is it counted also when they add credit card (upgrade to dev)?

Or they need to also pay

The website indicates

once they pay their first bill or purchase credits.
In the latter case, when are we supposed to be credited?
Secondly, do we have to be in developer plan or are we moved from starter to developer when we receive credits via referrals?

My friend bought $5 of credit after signing up with my referral link, but my referral credits are still pending :/
So I presumed it was because I'm still in starter plan

Maybe the credits update is on some sort of cron job and waiting will do the trick?

I’m assuming it’s because you’re on the starter plan. You won’t be able to effectively use those credits anyway with the limited hours

you most likely wont be upgraded to the dev plan as well. You haven’t passed the card verification process
