During the game, I often had thoughts about the insufficient variety of biomes in the game, thus narrowing the diversity of gameplay.
A little earlier, I was looking at the upcoming biomes planned for the game, and besides the existing ones at the moment (Mountains, Jungle, Desert, Ocean), there will be another biome, somewhat related to ruined cities. And it seems to me that five biomes will be too few for such game.
Therefore, I think it is necessary to expand this part of the game to make the gameplay much more diverse and introduce more random events in these biomes (like rain clouds in mountains in the current version of the game).
Here are some of my ideas:
1. Temperate Forests.
Analyzing the available biomes at the moment, I noticed that there are no completely safe biomes in the game that have normal temperature, normal humidity, and are completely toxin-free.
Description: a simple wooded area with a lot of wood, occasional quarries, and very rarely mines.
Normal temperature, normal humidity, toxicity level always at zero.
I think it's an excellent biome, for example, to recover after some serious negative events that happened earlier on the way, and take a break from dangers.
2. Taiga.
*Description: *A biome with a moderate climate, abundant wood, occasional quarries and mines.
Appears as a dense forest with high humidity.
Along the way, rain clouds may appear.
Temperature: Cold. Humidity: Normal or Wet. Toxicity: When Onbu is moving - toxicity at zero, when lying - low.
3. Savannah.
Description: also a biome of temperate climate, wood in small quantities, occasionally quarries, very rare mines.
Looks like a plain with rare trees but a lot of grass.
You can introduce a new material related to grass.
Temperature: normal - hot. Humidity: normal - dry. Toxicity: when Onbu is moving - toxicity at zero, when lying - low.
