I was thinking pga events + wgcs+ majors and keeping scoring super simple, such as 25pts for a win, 15 pts for a T2-T5, 10 pts for T5-T10, 5pts T11-T25, 3pts T26-T50, and 1 pt for made cut. 0pts for missed cut or didn’t play. That way any format you can score easily and don’t have to worry about scoring birdies, bogies, eagles, etc.
Drafts can be 12 people, each snaking drafting 10 golfers (120 golfers get selected, which is about how many full time tour cards there are, but maybe expand player pool to top 300 in world so people can choose good euros, KFT up and comers, etc that might get some starts)
I think if you make this a tourney, start filling in January, closing in March with the first week the players, it would be a hit. I would leave all my NFL winnings on your site and play this! 😄

For scoring, I'm not sure if just placing is exciting enough, but maybe it is - also not sure if there is enough variance
