He had a single in the 1st and than in the 6th inning he reached off fielders choice which isnt a base hit by MLB rules. Its dumb rule in my opinion...just because they choose to go after another runner to get out instead of him its not counted as a hit. A hit should be a hit lol...ssme way if fielders make an error and judge gets on base...like why fault the batter for that in a way.
