anyone knows what length your hair gotta be for braids like these?

If they work like french braids do on my hair type, the hair would only need to be a bit longer (a third to half again?) as long as the distance from the beginning of where the braid separates from the head to the end. Due to the tightness of the curls in your hair type though, you might just need that length of hair. 🤔

Those look like cornrows and I believe any veteran or skilled braider can work with even a inch of hair without the shrinkage, tho it could hurt. I suggest letting hair grow to at least 3 inches though? Just so they not gripping your thoughts instead of hair
