#Weights vs Calisthenics

Both got own benifits
But for me I don't go to gym so I prefer weighted calisthenics
Combine both weight and cali for max benifits
Combine both of them
CrossFit
Relative strength: calisthenics
Absolute strength: free weights
the one that u enjoy doing more
Mother yucker i enjoy sitting on my ass and watching the cartoons
the reason why is that if u enjoy something its easier to stay consistent
Calisthenics because no money is needed
it's crossfit stop arguing
Imagine doing butterfly pull ups
Ok can i talk to somebody not stupid please? I would appreciate
I mean it's part of CrossFit as a sport in general.
in actuality, if done right (of course), CrossFit IS a really good way of working out for functionality, likely moreso than both weights and calisthenics.
but ofc, CrossFit is🤢
Oh ok
Weighted calisthenics>>
Fr
Calisthenics over all
I like weights, they’re like toys that makes you buff
Weights if you like calisthenics you're actually stupid
Calisthenics on top
Don't fall for the bait
Calisthenics is useful like when you are stuck on a cliff end or smth you can use ur epic forearm strength
Facts
Just do a muscle up
I am joking ofc
I think it's cool to master your own bodyweight
And then become a powerlifter with me ❤️
Fr
Power lifters have mega raw strength tho 🗿
i think any bodyweight movement is going to be better because you get all those tiny muscles you wouldnt otherwise hit, preventing injuries in the future. which is very important as yo age. doesnt matter if u can deadlift a trillion pounds if ur glute medius is weak which destablizes ur pelvis and so on
Doing both is nice but if I had to choose one, calisthenics. It's accessible and honestly nothing hits the back like pullups do. Also it's a bit easier on the joints. And what I have experienced is doing bodyweight stuff such as pullups and pushups will help in weightlifting as well. If you can do a shitton of pushups, and you bench for the first time, you would most likely be able to bench at least close to your bw. For example Andrew tate. But the same can't be said for weightlifting to calisthenics. If you can bench a lot, it's not certain that you can do a pushup. So yeah I think it's nice even if your main focus is weightlifting to supplement with bodyweight exercises. And man dips and pullups are op. It is a bit harder to progress in calisthenics though, you can do weighted exercises but yeah you definitely are a bit limited by the lack of equipment and stuff that you can do.
Definitely think beginners should start with calisthenics imo, cause when you do start going to the gym, it'll be a lot easier for you
Finally a useful situation for calisthenics
jk
Bruh lol
a mix of both of course
cant go wrong with both
if i had to pick, for my personal situation, calisthenics is better
I personally do mostly calisthenics, with some weight work (kettlebell).
Weight
Easier to do with weight management and all of my accessories are gear towards powerlifting
Weighted Cali on top
