Which is better in your opinion?

Both got own benifits

#

But for me I don't go to gym so I prefer weighted calisthenics

#

Combine both weight and cali for max benifits

in actuality, if done right (of course), CrossFit IS a really good way of working out for functionality, likely moreso than both weights and calisthenics.

#

but ofc, CrossFit is🤢

Calisthenics is useful like when you are stuck on a cliff end or smth you can use ur epic forearm strength

#

I am joking ofc

#

I think it's cool to master your own bodyweight

#

And then become a powerlifter with me ❤️

i think any bodyweight movement is going to be better because you get all those tiny muscles you wouldnt otherwise hit, preventing injuries in the future. which is very important as yo age. doesnt matter if u can deadlift a trillion pounds if ur glute medius is weak which destablizes ur pelvis and so on

Doing both is nice but if I had to choose one, calisthenics. It's accessible and honestly nothing hits the back like pullups do. Also it's a bit easier on the joints. And what I have experienced is doing bodyweight stuff such as pullups and pushups will help in weightlifting as well. If you can do a shitton of pushups, and you bench for the first time, you would most likely be able to bench at least close to your bw. For example Andrew tate. But the same can't be said for weightlifting to calisthenics. If you can bench a lot, it's not certain that you can do a pushup. So yeah I think it's nice even if your main focus is weightlifting to supplement with bodyweight exercises. And man dips and pullups are op. It is a bit harder to progress in calisthenics though, you can do weighted exercises but yeah you definitely are a bit limited by the lack of equipment and stuff that you can do.

#

Definitely think beginners should start with calisthenics imo, cause when you do start going to the gym, it'll be a lot easier for you
