I have started my hypothetical step brother on typing.com, Khan academy and am considering adding in Codecademy at a later time. (He's 9, his parents and my mother are horrible at handling Internet stuffs so rather than teach him how to use it safely and why he'd use it they just don't let him go on. Same thing happened to me and my siblings and it's rather limiting since this is such a powerful tool.)

Is there anything else you'd recommend I add?

*He has trouble with controlling things and gets frustrated easily hence the typing practice. (It goes up in small steps and there's games)
Plus typing is a super useful skill in general.

Codecademy is just to let him try out coding. Although I am going to need to give him reasons as to why he'd want to learn how to code so that it's moreso his decision (if he's interested). 🤔
Either way basic coding develops a lot of cognitive skills as well as teaches you how to look stuff up if you don't know it. That said I'll prolly have him go through the basic coding stuffs by bribing him with stickers or something (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

Video games are excellent for motor skills and cognitive development. Unfortunately he's not quite ready for a lot of them just yet. Been starting him out with some easier stuffs like Astros playroom. I should prolly mention he is on the spectrum

I'm thinking that once he gets more comfortable with the keyboard he won't have as many issues with them

Also his parents don't let him play video games, YouTube or the Internet in general. (Trying to fix that before I move)

Prolly going to use the argument that the video games are not only very beneficial but can also be used as a reward for once he gets bored of typing games and Khan academy. This way he continues to do work and feels good about it since he'll know that as soon as he finishes he can play games.
Although my issue with that is that it makes learning feel more like a chore so I think it'd be best to not have to do to that extent.

For context, when I wake up I immediately brush my teeth or use mouthwash, exercise, eat and then shower. I shower before bed as well.
