ShapeSynth is looking for a 3D artist that would be interested in helping us annotate 3D models for our AI retopology toolset database. It's not hard work but it requires an understanding of what makes good topology and what makes bad topology.
Tasks
- annotate sections of human models provided by us into body parts using vertex groups (arm.L, head, leg.r, hand.r ETC.)
- take models provided by us and create poor topology from the animation ready models while maintaining annotated groups.
- provide both good and bad annotated models in .obj format using proper naming conventions
Skills
- proficiency with one of the following programs: Blender, 3DS Max, Maya
- understanding of how Vertex Groups work
- understanding of what is bad topology for live rendering (spirals, stretched polygons, ngons etc.)
Payment
- $35 per model Currently 10 models but we will be growing our database constantly
- willing to also pay for your art if you have game ready models and are willing to have them be used for an AI . Will pay double for high poly and low poly together ( I am aware of the track record of AI and refuse to steal art, but trust is earned not stated)
