i got to see the movie early for the toronto premiere (NO SPOILERS)

#

its great

#

i like dcs dark and gritty take

#

but this was more like a 2015 marvel movie with the amount of quips and such

#

its action packed

#

like almost infinity war level

#

with slight story beats in between

#

the first 25 minutes are slow but then it really ramps up

#

the 2 hours went by reaaaal fast, and it was hype as hell

And now we’re in a great position where not only have we opened the DC bible, and cracked that sucker open, pulled out five new characters — the JSA and Black Adam — and Easter Eggs in Black Adam of human beings that aren’t superheroes (yet), so they’re all there. A lot of talk has been made of, ‘Is there going to be a Superman vs. Black Adam movie?’. That could be cool, but for me, that’s just the easy thing. That’s just a moment. We want to create a longtime storytelling culture with DC.

I read the indie wire review of Black Adam. It’s really weird. The dude wants a Black Adam movie to be a documentary about Egypt and how much bad stuff happened there. And said the characters were all rip off of MCU characters. Like dude it’s a movie about the Rock shooting lightning you can calm down

Movie was really fun I’m so pissed ||dr fate died || I thought that actor was so prefect for the role of ||Kent Nelson really could’ve been interesting to explore that character further|| and they weren’t really mindful of the lore of the characters

It's one of those that you go in the theater to just be entertained

And it does that

Incredible action

#

Simple story

Easy to digest

#

It's a solid 7

Way better than the other marvel movies this year
