You can disable EAC on pc and use cheat engine. I assume they play solo because the talents online are server side but offline everything seems client side.

Lets get Brutally honest here. This same thing has happened in the Borderlands games for ages Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Gotham Knights Marvel's Avengers Outriders etc etc you see one in your game random loading in and dont like it kick em or leave match yourself simple as that every game you see that has a Loot build based element to it, sad truth is modders are gonna get ahold of and mod the crap out of it because they have the knowlege to do so, Tale old as time. Truth its happened since looter shooters even started and it'll keep happening long as ppl are determined to cheat. Nothing to rant about tho its a PVE game meh I just Ignore it and enjoy playing the game. Not really cause most people that play Looter shooters Don’t even wanna competition they just want to grind for that sweet build for the endgame. They just wanna get the drops that are in the Rng drop rate to fulfill the pieces to there build with the rolls on them they want for it. Leader boards would save nothing. Like I said, I don’t care if hacks and cheats are in the game. All I care about is that they stick to the looter shooter formula that the game was designed around. There is no PvP element to the game except for the whack leader board crap. I just am enjoying playing it like any other looter shooter. My favorite genre of games and I love em all lol. Figured it'd work like that. On pc you do need to have the EAC off I believe but I doubt consoles have any sort of check for that sort of thing. I've made my damage goto 830,000 to see if it'd stick but it doesnt once I go online or once I enable eac again.

Its not cheat engine. Cheat engine flags and freezes your game once you try to allocate a address being online bc denuvo recognizes the programs name like any online game with it implemented, I figured it out what ppl are using and how they getting it to stick and not roll back once back online. and its not CE at all. but I'm not putting the method out there bc I don't wish to be culprit that ruins the game for everyone as ppl are butthurt claiming it is even tho there is no pvp. and I dont reccomend doing it bc it causes whats going on here right now with ppl try harding and stalking others on a board over a Pve game lol either teenagers or ppl with no life obvi that are the complainers over a pve game but alas here we go elementary my dear Watson Research purposes tho as you say its possible just ppl got it wrong its not CE ppl keep saying CE bc thats the only one they know of bc of hearsay from other games. But if ppl did the correct research as they say they would see a denuvo online title cannot be used to allocate with CE.

I used cheat engine lol denuvo does nothing to it. Once you disable EAC you can do whatever you want to the game. Took all of 15 minutes to get the values for any skill points and they stick until I re-enable EAC or go online. You can keep the values even on console but connecting to an actual server makes the values do nothing.

Finding what wrote to the address that I found that controls the values of skills. Any skill I level up will show up and I just add the address and edit it to whatever I want. Damage on gun you could probably do the same by trial and error or swapping weapons and checking for value.

and again I am saying to get the values to stick its not CE that is not what is being used bc once on a server they roll back and the reason for that is the allocation is wrong using CE most deff not CE to get it to stick

Server resets values. I can edit them as I am online and they will not have any function. Making them stick is not an issue, having an actual function is different. The guy who is charging for the method stated they only play offline so whatever method they use also is untested online and most likely will stick but not actually function.

I’ve seen other games die because the leaderboard gets riddled with cheaters

this is the same Nerfs they did for Borderlands 3 with builds that were Meta Im gonna tell you this they already dug the no mods grave by getting a EAC contracted AC for there game's lifecycle Nerfs dont stop mods in fact it gives them motivation to restore the original effects of said items or make them stronger this has been happening since Borderlands series as a whole.
