hi im dutch so maybe i dont spell anything right. but i am on a create mod server with friends but i am lagging as hell. so do you guys have things to fix that?

is the server lagging or is your client lagging?

Depends too much on what service you are using to host the server, but most of the free hosting services start to lag a lot if you add more than 5 mods

I would say open ur task manager and go to the performance tab, it shows your performance. Then play the server and depending on what’s lagging you might have to overclock a bit

how much ram is allocated to MC?

overclocking/underclocking is rarely needed with modern hardware nowadays

if its hiccuping try gtting ferrite core and modernfix on if possible and see if tat helps if you haven already installed them

also does it lag for the other friends aswell besides the host,
it could be that you guys didnt allocate enough ram to your game, with modded thats offten the case
could be that the internet of the host not sufficient fast enough for hosting a server,
also, are you all playing in the same area as a base too,or spread around the world,
this could all be factors to concider, i also speak dutch so always happy to help in dutch if needed

leuk een mede nederlander ik zou eerst kijken naar wat er in je computer/ laptop zit zelfs bij servers willen modpacks nog wel eens bij client crashen
