Lava buckets not traveling through nether portal

Hey guys, I have been playing the perfect world 2 mod pack for a bit and decided to finally upgrade my power production but I ran into a major problem, I cant seem to send lava buckets through my nether portal. I have tried belts, droppers and everything in between. Items still go through fine if I throw them through but not when anything else throws them. Please help me out

and you would need to turn the train back

This is my overworld side

and nether side, I placed in a dropper set up to try that but normally i extend the belt from the left to the portal

I was going to do that as a last resort however I dont have much room so was trying to see if there was an issue i could fix!!

well can you go to creative in a new world and test if it works in creative

so create a new creative mode world

I think you need to extend the belts to make it like enter the nether portal? Like the train track? Idk.
