#Adding Perfect World modpack to a server

There should be a server pack that you can download when you get it off curseforge. You can add that to your server host. Or if your lazy and only have under 8 friends who wanna play, Use the essentials mod.
The essentials mod is a simple mod, it allows you to host singleplayer worlds as servers and friend people to let them join
see i have tried to add it but it never actually loads onto my server listing
Then try out essentials.
and i have a server i am hosting and just using my friends as test dummys as i want to make it a public server in the near future xD
so i am wanting to add it to my actual server
Oh.
That could be more of a direct_virus question
(Dont ping him, he gets angry if its something unimportant)
He will find this soon
Yeah
Keep an eye out for him
He's a sneaky one
But clever enough to earn a custom role
ahaha thanks i am just wanting to get this to work as i think it would be fun to have a 120 player server all using trains to get across vass areas of the map
Just a heads up, it doesnt like alot of players
The modpack generally likes 15-20 tops
Anything above it begins to lag out due to the amount of creations
yeah i guessed but if it crashed it shall crash xD
And tech
i know most people that i know dont know much about the mod so yk
ahah nice i shall keep my eye on it
i need this server thing but the server modpack for Perfect World does not have it
Go and download forge as server from minecraft forge
then just add the server pack files into the same folder and you should bw set
ive done this but i dont recieve a jar file as a server
did you run the run.bat file?
that should generate you everything you need in pretty sure
that should be everything based on my own server
the jar is not visible but when you boot it it also boots a java terminal
so place the mods withing the mods folder and it should run a jar file once i start it?
im sorry im new to adding these to a server im trying to run yk
if you run the run .bat file it should boot up a windows command file and a java terminal the java terminal will be identical to that one of a regular one(im pretty sure)
sec
so the sh one
i use that .bat file
is it the one that brings cmd open?
ye
and the white one is the java terminal
if you now boot your minecraft and connect to your sever with the id 0. you should have a server
localhost connect?
ye
you will need to port forward or share your ip if you want to get your friends on
nah i rent a server so i would import it to there
your using a minecraft hosting provider?
yes
many of them will already have most of this so you should be able to find the modpack on the mosting providers site
