#need help with boost pad fx actors not appearing in game

Do you have unlimited boost on and or free play, training, modes like that? Those will make the boost not appear
no it was on standard but i tried both freeplay and private lan match and it doesn't appear for both .
Boost pads are annoying af did you follow the rocketleaguemapmaking.com guide?
yes i mean i could try remaking it again i m super new at this i was trying stuff out
i first used the soccar template then i tried remaking one pad following the codered video and then i double check with the guide before asking here đ
honnestly i dont really know much im just learning a bit from whats out there atm like i dont even know how to make transparent walls and stuff im only at doing mic's right now
Ah yeah I hear ya. Boost pads are the bane of my existence. If I wasnât camping Iâd give you some more help.

Also, I reccomend using simplesharks tutorial series if youâre gonna watch a mapmaking tutorial, theyâre much more up to date

In the thread I sent you, youâll see âcomplexity.udkâ. Just open it up like you would any other UDK file
I've been making boost pads all week
. I did write a cheatsheet a while ago, but there's a better approach that I recommend to people now
I usually use python đ. Then cut and paste the fx actor from one box to the other because as you know the correct box erases when you copy and paste the whole set of objects. Question though⊠what if you had a boost prefab of all the objects would they stay linked?

They don't stay linked in a prefab unfortunately. I have a loose concept of some code that could link them based on location though.
