#Help needed with damaged chip on Fly Super 8 Pro

damn
with "just" that dead heaters 0-5 and fans 0 and 1 wouldn't work but the rest would
Besides the burned chip (shown in the image), which other components might have been damaged?
Oh, well, that's a relief
3.3v regulator, 5v regulator, MCU, maybe more
Also, I haven’t been able to test whether the stepper drivers still work, because I think the power supply for the Wi-Fi module might also be damaged. the board no longer connects, so I can't control or check anything remotely.
that sounds like more was taken out then
best strip out the board and power it up
see if anything gets hot, also make a note of what LEDs light up
i'll have to check which ones turn on, and which ones doesn't once i get back home then
i'll answer as soon as possible, thanks
By the way, would a 74HC541D be a compatible replacement for the damaged chip?
I’m asking because we previously tried using TMC2209C drivers, which the board should have recognized without any issues, but 3 out of 5 were dead on arrival, and the other 2 didn’t work at all. I eventually had to buy a full new set of 5 TMC2209 drivers... and fortunately, those worked correctly.
looks like a 74HC541D would fit
that's a relief, i cannot find the regular ones on aliexpress, and amazon charges me 36 just for a single chip... without taking in count import fees.
at least ali has a single chip for 2 about usd
i expect you've damaged more parts though
i hope not that many got fried
