Heya, I've a question for the devs for the most bit.
Because I just learned that if I play on USC my quest progression and artifact progress carries over to other servers, but my loot, perks challenges etc do not and that was kind of very surprising and actually disappointing - is this intended? Because it is really weird to have to start over without quests or challenges done but some bits of the artifact have carried over.

Hey there homie! I'm not a dev or anything, just another play tester like yourself. Though I feel like that's probably intended, cause if you think about one of the types of game this one represents and fuses which is "extraction" there can be alot of issues regarding player pergression and player to player interaction. A good example I could use is that "If character progression was shared between regions/servers , it would cause a one sided gain of players that could and might jump from region to region with their characters for easy farm and mats, since ibe region might have a low player count/level range so it would make it easy gains for those higher tierd players.... Again that's just a example of a handful of reasons. My opinion though, is I prefer them having each region separate from the progression for characters. Cause I feel that it's a great middle ground between League of Legends region lock and Dark & Darkers character progression.

Okay fine but then
Quests should not be shared, and they are, like that's my gripe, it takes out half and shares another, and it should be all or nothing

I think that just comes down to personal opinion. I feel that having shared quests across all regions entices others to run on other regions and cuts out alot of the negative feelings and views when it comes to games that force players to go through the basics or turtorial again and again. Like wouldn't you prefer not to have to repeat the initial set up and guide again and again if you already knew how to play? Wouldn't that get a bit repetitive? Cause it's kinda like when people keep resetting and starting a run again and again within a rpg or chapter based game. Like they one make it to chapter 2 multiple times and the feeling of wanting to play the game gets prolonged and fades. They'd lose player interest if they did that.

Are you worried, that progression wont be as fast since you aren't gaining the starting quest rewards?

the thing is you also lose your perks and whatnot and that's just the biggest grate on me, it's not even about progression it's the loss of progress as well as not having the quests to get started

I'm an all or nothing person, I don't understand why it's a half-half on this at all it feels wrong and reads wrong - nor was there any warning or headsup on this, which just deepens the annoyance
