That probably means you did not install Node.

#

Or you did but the environment variables are not configured properly.

Have done a lot of googling, tried reinstalling node.js using the official installer, but my npm pathing still doesn't work.

This doesn't work

I get an error message saying missing

It almost always is.
But you probably could have avoided the problem by just not using powershell.

I would never recommend anyone to work with Node from a PowerShell terminal.
