That’s your decision in the end. The one posted above looks not bad but I gave mine longer doors which I prefer and is just common for a coupe compared to a sedan of the same car/model. At least irl it’s like that so I followed this. The one above seems to use sedan (short) doors which looks a bit wired to me

yes it is wierd. they are really just removed (lorewise welded for saftey). i couldnt be bothered to make a actualy good cupe mod just for this. if i can ill use an existing cupe mod

GT4 is copyrighted by the SRO/RACB yeah.

But GTIV works just as good and is the same basic class idea

The ETK K GTIV just seems to be a demo/press car since it has a passenger seat and arguably should probably have a sequential over a DCT

atm im using gt4 for ease of moding and all internal names will be gt4 but it will be changed to GTIV for al the other stuff

It’s not far off imo. Just the passenger seat giving it a more demo car feel than race car (as well as no fuel fill location)

Merc is turbo V8 though; so not a 1:1

Aston is probably closest in body style and engine (has the same engine as the Merc)

Aston also has the same air jack point as the ETK K; the Mercedes has its one infront of the windshield

And to bring the convo back on topic of the Bastion;

I helped Pulsar find reference images to base it mainly on the Mustang and Camaro GT4s

Not all GT4s run a sequential

Some run the stock DCT

And idk what is wrong with the interior

It could use a safety net I guess? But that is a pretty minor detail imo

Overall VERY similar interior between the GT3 and GT4. The cars also share a transmission

the gt4 bastion will have the 5.7L v8😔 not the 6.5 . it really needs the weight savings and the downgrade of an engine makes it 101kg lighter

Many parts redesign and new parts added to make the bastion a proper gt4 racing car for sprint and endurance races.
More to it will be released soon.
Also a big thanks to @worn cedar for letting me use the seat and window nets from his GT3 Scentilla. Also thx to @rotund harness and MTHoover97 for letting me use the cupe body mod for the gt4. Thx to @normal scarab and @formal valley for helping me lower the weight of the bastion over 200kg. also @normal scarab made some fatter 18inch tires so the 18x11 wheels dont look that off and every gt4 can have the same wheels

I'm not Pulsar; but when talking with him about specs it will be about 0.300 P/W; same as the ETK K GTIV, but it is on the heavier end of GT4 at 1500ish KG so it will be a bit more powerful.

I did some testing of it the other day for Pulsar. Drives very well out of the box and is perfectly pace balanced with the ETK K GTIV

Right now I think he is finalizing a few things and tying up loose ends

so guys, its ben a while. ive fixed the uv atleast for now and fixed some material issues

so, to do till release is: Rain Light / Endurance Front bumper Lights / Finish Interior Buttons / Universal GTIV Tires. that is all for the initial release at least. Updates will most likely come. this version is a more vanilla like version. more cars will come and maybe a updated more realistic overhaul. 👀 Thank you everyone for following this, im sorry that ive ben inactive for a while and that this mod is taking so long, pace will pick up and hoping for a realise in less than 3 weeks.

i have driven this with people on mp and i personally love it it still has the muscle car feel of wants to kill you but its manageable want to kill you my only negative was something with the paint idk what its been like 2 weeks since ive been on beam

Helped make some configs for an event Pulsar is hosting this weekend

He has done a fantastic job with the SBR4 so far + some minor aero bug fixes on the Bastion
