Acceptable? It would be if the maps were bigger. But with small vanilla maps that are made for ants current graphics suck ass. On ultra with mods like graphics util and teons ttweaks, it becomes somewhat tolerable. But still the lod, shadows, anti aliasing and shimmering fucking sucks ass

It's also plagued by the unbearable shimmering and God awful aliasing...but there it's AMD problem which I found a workaround for it. I modded the game so it thinks I have an rtx card so I'm running dlaa but actually it's fsr 2

getting good graphics shouldn't end up in learning world editor, sun sky, clouds, knowing several utilities, skyboxes and etc

also, smaa, ssao (which you also have to tweak) in 2025

I get it the physics are nothing to scoff at and I genuinely like the game and the devs

But I won't shy out just bcz they're indie devs and can't keep up with standards

I've got Ryzen 5 7600x and rx6900xt...imma upgrade to 9070xt down the road

My biggest mistake with my build was the air cooler for my CPU...I thought the CPU boost algorithm would push max frequency until reaches 95c. Didn't know after 60c, for each 1c gained you'd lose 10mhz

I mean you'd need it having a cutting edge CPU. I thought since my tdp is 105w, I wouldn't need water cooling

And I was right to some degree, it doesn't go over 75c

But that's 150mhz reduction in max boost

But anyway the game is CPU bound so even now that I'm running 5650mhz on CPU it doesn't really help alot... especially when I spawn traffic. My gpu literally goes idle🤣

I tested it 'cause deleting this mod fixes the issue
