Introduction

About Me

In the first months of developing the mod, I simply forwarded posts at the request of my friend (NSD), but after a month I received an early version and became a beta tester, and in early December I already began to actively develop. in addition to fixing bugs and other things, I also found bugs, suggested ideas, provided moral and material support, found real prototypes and looked for information about details, promoted the mod on the servers. I officially became the second developer. and yes, I’m no longer ashamed to say that this is “OUR” mod, because this mod has essentially already become a part of me.

Our Plans

With this mod we want to prove that in BeamNG it is possible to implement details that no one has ever seen before. I think this mod will be the best mod ever created in the Russian community of our beloved BeamNG. we want to prove that Russian mods can also be good, thereby raising the reputation of Russian modding.

Release Date

about the release date: the mod will be released either in the summer of this year (I doubt it) or in early 2026. this way we will have time to do everything we want.

Credits

The model was created from scratch, the original JBeam was taken from the TAZ Pack, with the permission of its author, for door opening triggers, but then JBeam was completely redone.

Start

the first plans to create a mod came to us in July 2024, so we set the start date for development to 21/07/2024, this date looks beautiful, because the mod itself is a VAZ 2107. The model was transferred to the game on August 28, 2024.

our mod is not perfect, but we will try to make it better.

Well, the '63 beetle doesn't have a flap, but rather the cap itself (unless you install the fake Herbie gas cap that opens) 🙂

firstly, low-poly models, unlike high-poly models, do not overload the game, and accordingly you do not lose as much FPS as with a high-poly model. but yes, low polys weigh a lot less than high polys

6 months ago, when we didn't know how to make triggers for openable, we took JBeam triggers with permission of the creator of TAZ pack. if anything, this Jbeam triggers has long been replaced by ours, nothing is left of it.

and so, the whole JBeam is made from scratch
