Here's a list of what's new, copy pastes from the repo page
New Parts V 4.0
-New toggleable popups, thanks to LJ for helping me get them working.
They use the trigger to activate the popups, and you can toggle the lights manually with whatever your keybind is for them, so you can have your lights up without the beams on.
-Pre-broken headlights and taillights for the Liftback and Coupe lights
-Barnfind config revamp. New livery, interior and glass made by szanto_sz, and I made mismatched hubcaps an option on the front AND rear.
-A new "Restoration" config based off a car which was T-Boned and then restored. Again features a livery and interior by szanto_sz
-3 unique stripes liveries, stripes 1 and 2 do not work on the popup bumpers, but do work on the Liftback body itself.
-Tarmini rally config, I can't go a mod without adding in Tarmini.
-The powerglow config now has toggleable glow, you can turn it on and off with the foglight keybind, as the BX currently has no foglights. (For now :p)
-Alot of config tweaking and revamping, and just general clean-up. I need to get this file optimised some more, but there's so much new content that it'll take awhile. As well as something, interesting, coming soon. (Maybe a month idk)

Thankfully nothing in my pack has broken. The devs did make their own powerglow for the BX and made it PBR despite not updating the other 2 powerglow skins for some reason. Mine will still stay in my mod because I simply just prefer it over theirs, however I think I'm gonna need to change the internal name as I believe it now conflicts.
Mine is just "powerglow" and I think theirs is too, so I'll just have to add an s_ at the start or smth.

but it is better to do your own thing than to do neither, and that can help build motivation and skills for other projects

I think it's even good, there's the Sunburst, Miramar and Burnside that were remastered, but I think it's even good to make a car mod pack
I'm doing it but using parts from the game itself, I don't know how to make skins, bodykits or variants for the cars, although at the beginning I want to look for someone who knows how to do it. Other than that, I think it's good to have mod packs because they expand the contents for several vanilla cars

Because there's nothing which could really cause that in the mod, only thing I could think that would possibly be breaking it would be the toggleable pop ups, but they don't use the hinges
