set every mesh to "shade smooth", and don't use the subdivision modifier too often (i see that your frame is subdivided, which adds lots of polys and makes it unrealistic, delete the subdivision modifier if you can), you can make shapes smoother by hand or by adding edge loops or selecting edge loops if you want to remove geometry (on the body for example)

hey guys, this mod might come to an end soon, in 2nd of september im leaving till school starts and after that I will have to focus more on it, I wont close the thread yet as I might still do something with it
If anyone wants to pick the mod in this state I will gladly send him all the files needed, the flexbody does not show anymore and I can't get wheels to attach to anything, crazy me thinking I will be able to do such a hard mod in such a short time, in the rest of these days I might work on my gambler pickup (my pc wasn't working when the competition was going) and might make a thread for it once its 90% done (might never happen)
I've also seen some people that I won't name, complaining in #discord-server-feedback that people post "low quality mods without showing any progress" in showcase-your-mods, I felt I'm one of those and I lost pretty much all my motivation

i think that mods are a thing to do in your spare time, so no need to rush it. modding is supposed to be a fun hobby, so although it may be challenging, it's rewarding once you make it work. also, don't take the negative comments personally, slow progress is a normal thing, but i would suggest to make a thread once you get some of it working in Beam or have the model close to completion

hey @nova schooner, with the new update life should be easier for all of us, you can now edit the jbeams in game! and convert meshes to jbeams directly in blender with official support!
