How to make interiors

patience and focus, with a hint of mod fixtures

firstly you have to set up a dummy to know where to put the wheels and pedals. spawn in the dummy (its a mod on the workshop) and drag it inside the car, mirror the fixture. then eyeball where you think the driver and passengers should sit. usually with cars people sit a little foward past the rear door seam line. they do that so you dont graze the metal unibody when getting in

then drag the dummy to be equal distance to its passenger and the side door.

then look where the dummy is looking and see if you have a good view angle

then just go ham with adding the steering wheel, pedals, making the dash entirely of separate fixtures or cheaping out with a single interior fixture if you dont want to waste 3 hours on a interior

make sure you are in 3d mode. it should be on the bar right above the fixtures. then if you really want to get advanced go to the top left corner. and hit the cube until it shows a globe. then go slightly down and set the angles to 90, or zero. whatever makes it completely flat.
