Edit: To be honest maybe something like 15 minutes? Might seem really long but if I'm not mistaken #mods-discussion should already be used for discussion about posts in #714429950765301791, so there's really no point in being able to send a lot of messages in the showcase channel.
Another solution could be to only allow messages that have an attachment, and have a bot automatically start a thread on those posts, so people can discuss mods that way. Right now it's just way to cluttered and mods quickly get buried.

I see it in use on multiple servers and it works very well, doesn't take up too much setting up either. That way, #714429950765301791 can be what both mods want and what users seem to like to do: it'll be for screenshots only, but people can comment on posts easily and break less rules

Edit: suggestion from theFJ as an alternative is to make it pictures only (text with pictures is ok too for context) and then the poster can make a thread along with the mod if wanted, so there's not threads for small mods/updates/teasers

Right now a picture is sent and then lost. Happens even worse with links to mods or other things, I've had it happen to me and it's disappointing. At the very least, it means scrolling up will let you see nothing but pictures, and you can click to see more on a specific mod

Contributor is gotten by chatting with others. The bot gives out a random amount of xp per msg every 30-60 seconds between each chat msg in most channels. You can't buy contributor and nitro provides nothing unless your a Staff member or a moderator (i can't remember if Verified content creator or Creator Program Partner can get anything special with nitro or not).

Could I suggest having a day test run of being able to send messages with our images in screenshots. Trial it for a day or so, see how it goes, and maybe set it back to where you can send a message with your image. If it goes downhill again, revert it back. One example is the effort to keep old mods alive by doing things differently to help prevent those breaking.

Source: I run a support server for a discord bot with 300,000 servers. People join, and ask a question. It doesn't matter if the message above them is the exact answer. It doesn't matter what you put in the channel topic; in pinned messages or bot messages, they'll ignore it anyway. FAQ channels even, people just ask anyway

Best you can do is get used to answering those simple questions, they are simple after all. Or ignore them :)

A flaw; people often say "thanks" without directly tagging the member. Such as this message in reply to Bando. Since I replied to his message and did not directly mention him, would he get +rep if I told him "thanks" (in the appropriate channels), or only if he is directly tagged? If he wouldn't, it may be something to consider.

Content Creator you have to apply for, I'm not entirely sure what the requirements are, but you need to have made mods or have a YouTube channel with a certain amount of subscribers I think, but again, I could be wrong.
