Is it possible to code an electric rad fan to be a switch? Usually it just comes on at a temp set in the Jbeam, but If it's not hard to make it a keybind or one of those interior switches, I want to.
Add a trigger that set an electric value to 1 then use the electric values name as the function for the rad prop

so the fan will still need to turn on at a certion temp because what i sent you only makes the fan spin not actually cool

rename everything that says fans to radiatorFanSpin that is the electri that turns on the cooling it looks like in the lua at least. I may be wrong but thats what im getting from the lua

Its basegame lua modules for the car not jbeam stuff. But using the jbeam you can write lua functions in the events section to run code wich is what that i sent oyu does

It turns on at a certaun temp. It just works like basegame
When I rev it it'll turn on (I made the motor run insanely hot, it'll overheat with 2 a sec rev)
So, it'll work but it's not the switch making it work
did you change the temperatur it turn on at? otherwise it will turn on obivously
If it's at a "normal temp" it works, raising the turn on temp does what expected if raised to like 2 million degrees, it'll blow up before that works.
I just need the fan to work on the switch and Ik what to do for everything else.

TLDR it was a big pack of parts for the BX but the kits werent UV'd, had bad jbeam, the wings had NO jbeam, textures were all the wrong formats, RSX taillights with no glowmaps, aftermarket mirrors that didnt work, and endless shading issues because every single fucking model was fitted with as little effort as possible

I have some of the pickups from when they were free, went back to buy the semi because it looked kinda decent, but now its paid. The Scout is using the old simplified traffic system, and it will spawn always, on every map with traffic support
And AFAIK, simplified traffic does support multiple regions. Not sure if normal cars support it, as I never found one with multiple region tags; instead, there are different configs for differente regions (eg: JDM and USDM Covet)

I know there’s a way to scale flexbodies. But, doing it that way won’t scale the nodes with the mesh.

Update: I was reading through the documentation a little bit closer and it says that adjusting on the X axis will do so in a mirrored fashion, so that should be exactly what I’m looking for. Gonna try it out later.
node scaling would be funky, it also affects beam properties so its probably be either complicated af to program or would just cause instabilities

I won't help, but I can tell you that they're stored in v.data.beams. You can then use a for loop, and match beams with certain traits

maybe the auto smooth deleted the uv mapping? you can always try using the original model in the jbeam and using the pos to place it. it's how I do spare tires usually
also if you line it up once, you can keep replacing it with different tire models and add all sorts of spares

Hello, i wanted to create a realistic map for beamng, its a gift for my friend, the maps is a city map , it must be the most possible the same as the google earth, i tried with the mapng service , but obviously got a bad map, nice starting point tho.
The map is pretty big but not enormous, can you help with that?

Hello! Does anyone have any idea why the lite version of RLS career mode isn't working? I've never tried to mod career mode before, but from what i can see, it's not uncommon to get an 80 something LUA error whatever that means.
use the version that was used when making this map
did you just install some collection with lite in the name? you also need to download the full mod

Not sure if you can. Looks like its missing the texture files, as its yellow no texture, not red/orange, so its trying to reference files that don’t exist. You can look in the material editor at the materials and then browse the files and try to match them up again, but I’m not sure if it’d work without seeing the files and materials myself
