Nice man! The issue with that (and where I'm at right now) is I can't model a car from scratch. It's one thing editing another vehicle, but another actually making one. I'd suggest maybe making a vehicle off an in-game platform, I don't know it all yet however.

Hey guys I've just seen some map mods people are creating. The latest being the Somerset UK one. You know. It would be awesome if we could do this easier. Like some program that let's you pick a area say from Google earth/maps to render then pick a start and finish point on the map. Maybe add a pit area some barriers and kerbs maybe. So we can all race on familiar roads. For example there are some great roads in the UK like in Wales or North Pennines and many more besides. Would be awesome!

yes, especially mods with real brands or using models ripped from other games, basically everything with copyright issues
if they are in the Repo the devs get issues, if they are in a forum post the poster is the one who has to deal with copyright strikes

Ah, ok. So generally real tracks, cars, etc are in the forum and the rest as long as they are safe to use are repo

copyright stuff shouldn't bother you as a player too much, this is something the creator needs to sort out if it goes wrong
