A meshslap is when somebody takes a model they didnt make, applies it to a jbeam they didnt make, and do it with minimal modification or attention to quality. They have to have all 3 of those things to be a true "meshslap"
Examples of things that show a jbeam is not well adapted to the mesh: Jbeam does not fit the shape of the vehicle, jbeam has not been altered (beyond node positions) to better represent the structure of the mesh, incorrect suspension type, misaligned suspension geometry, incorrect drivetrain, incorrect scale/weight/other stats, console error spam, structural insability, collsion fighting. Other indicators of low quality include meshes not showing full mechanical detail, material and texture errors, non functional glow maps and deform groups, excessive mesk spiking on deformation.
Its meant to describe those mods you see where somebody takes a model from forza, sticks it on the closest jbeam in shape, moves some nodes around and calls it a day
