obviously im not going to pay for a model swap. but if there was actual effort put into the mod, then yeah i wouldn't mind throwing support toward a Patreon/subscribestar or whatever else

also yeah, the mod review system on the repo is a little hit or miss imo. i often spend a lot of time testing out mods in different environments and with different peripherals, but when people rate a mod poorly due to user error or because they only tried it for half a minute, i feel discouraged from contributing my own thoughts

Nobody is killing mods just asking for accountability and responsibility, if you take a model off the internet and use it assuming the licenses allow you to modify and release it its fine but when you claim it as solely your own work to profit or benefit and don't acknowledge these facts then it looks bad and is very possibly illegal.

He used models He didn't make to promote his patreon to take money from unsuspecting people.

He did all this while using alt accounts to start drama on the forum and ruin the community that existed.

All that while lying and reinventing the narrative to suit his own agenda. So yes he put a lot of effort in but he put it into doing the wrong things and never accepting full blame.
