I have a question regarding Vehicle Filtering in the Garage to Garage mission type. I'm trying to get it to spawn only my configs, which I have created corresponding .json files for each config (see json below for example). Using the filters in the Mission Editor, it doesn't seem to recognize my configs. It works just fine if I add the config under the Manual Additions. However, I have hundreds of these configs and I would rather not have to manually add each one. Ideally, I would like to filter by Author, but I don't see that listed as an option to filter by. Also, I would like to add my own filter options, for example, by Model Family or Engine Family, but I also don't see an option to do that.

How do I need to configure the missions settings and/or my .json files for my configs to spawn in Garage to Garage?

For example, this is the json for one of the configs I have setup on the Gavril Barstow. All my configs have spawned just fine in Garage to Garage missions before BeamNG changed to using the Vehicle Filtering in their last update (0.38).

Bit of a question just because I want some clarity on technicality if anyone knows it.

I'm making a mod that uses slots from another mods' so it embeds things from said other mod in vehicles. (to simplify, this is an engine mod that has its own custom slots through the license plate tab normally.) I wanted to make a mod that put this in the paintslot as well so it could be used with vehicles from automation, as automation cars don't come with a license plate slot, and I don't know how to jbeam one in.

I've made a working prototype that uses this, and as far as I'm aware, the only code used is to insert the slots from the other mod, does that count as using someone else's code? Because if so I might not be able to put my mod out for a while, since the OG modder seems inactive/silent lately on the repo as far as I can tell.

To simply my question; Would using the slots defined from the other mod count as using the other mod's code and therefore need validation?

Also note: the current setup still requires the original mod to work, so u would need to sub to both for it to work in my prototype.

Most updates change little things with all cars, for example, the latest update remove some redundant texture from the gauges and it broke all kljp gauges since they used the material with the redundant texture as a base

Or they changed how the rear doors on the pessima MK2 close and since kljp has custom bodies for it without those changes, they all broke

Kljp has the: covet, pessima, pessima 2, bx, had sunburst and sbr4, which all rely on the vanilla parts not changing

So that's why some part of kljp is always broken

You will never make anything with this approach of just pinging people, spamming everywhere, not sticking to anything because it doesn't work the minute you start it.
Beam modding is quite difficult with all its varying systems, file varieties and whatnot.
Either start small, stick to tutorials, start something that's in your scope like a skin, start understanding what you're doing, or don't bother.

Chevrolet is literally a French surname, Caprice is literally a French word that means "whim" or like "fancy". So despite the brand being the most American as it gets, Chevrolet used French names in a few of their models (Bel Air, Caprice, Monte Carlo, Chevelle, Beauville...).
