I need some help

For context, I'm working on my first mod ever YES EVER. And I've like no experience what so ever so my ADHD said why don't you try making a mod, basically I've started just with meshlaps first before making custom bodies or anything like that "I've used automation once and it was fun but didn't have that i wanted" recently I came across the hirochi outlaw which is a motorbike mod for BeamNG and I haven't seen many other motorbike mods so what I essentially wanted to do was convert the outlaw into a 2022 Yamaha R1. I've done mostly all the steps yk with the .Dae file and modeling using a free model and textured it myself for an hour using blender, however once I converted the outlaws .Dae file into the R1- It was downhill from there.. I've done all the lua stuff and the bike just keeps appearing invisible and I'm not too sure on what to do- I've renamed everything to make sure outlaw isn't referenced apart from the MAIN stuff such as controls. And vice versa.. yet I feel as if I've done this completely wrong as I don't have the skills and the brain capacity to follow along with mod tutorials. Is there anyone who would be willing to help me out?

you can even copy the eq settings from my pigeon 999 mod if you want

im more thinking I4 but maybe a screamer. the R6 2008 Goes up to around 15k to 16k RPM irl, i should know ive rode one. so a V8 wouldnt work for my ideal sound

I'm attempting to make a rock crawling competition mission/scenario and part of that requires setting up pairs of road cones for the player to drive through. They score points for every set driven through and lose points if they hit/run over/knock over a cone.

I know about gates/waypoints but is there some mechanism in the game for a scoring system that interacts with cones?

A boundary system and waypoint/checkpoints gets me close. And I know you can assign points to objectives from career mode, but I haven't seen anything specifically what I'm asking for. Any help is appreciated.

Well it wouldn't be too hard since there are pallet sized load boxes to do concrete pallets or something I would say just open the jbeam for em in blender and see how they line up with your model you wanna use and if it's close just slap the mesh on it. But for custom things like a motorcycle or something you would need to make your own jbeam but wouldn't be too hard since it's not going to deform that much you can make it's super simple

Is anyone having trouble with the T75 car carrier trailer? It will not connect to any of the trucks I’m trying to use to haul it. When I press “L” the fifth wheel hitch doesn’t highlight the contact point the truck will attach to. I also don’t see the option to couple the truck and trailer in the primal menu either. Does the mod need an update?, because it’s not usable at the moment. Can someone update it if it needs one?

for starters, fifth wheels (or at least the ones on the t-series) aren't meant to use the L coupler function anymore, that's just for smaller hitches now
i'd try just backing into the fifth wheel hitch and seeing if it connects automatically
