and avoid the meshslap phase
start with the model and jbeam and then add lights, interactable things, etc

I wouldn't say it's a scam, but there are a lot of low quality and/or stolen mods on it, and some people claim a lot of viruses too (though I'm not sure if it's actually that bad)

You want to make a mod without... the things required to make a mod?
However, creating them from the ground up can be prevented. Just start off small, with some new skins or body parts for existing vanilla cars. You will be able to mostly - or sometimes completely - copy the vanilla .jbeams, with the exception of renaming them to prevent conflicts
most of my jbeams are edited versions of vanilla parts

ive never used custom sounds only "tuned" the vanilla ones
i was thinking having both base game and modded engine sounds, compiled on the fly based on what mods you have installed

It looks like you have rear body (rb) and rear frame (rf) nodes so maybe add beams between some of those and the motor

So if you make duplicate beams and switch the r and l around then it makes it even stronger

but we also have proper rwd setup for them aswell. with our engines
there was this, but was created by JZX which was banned for alting multiple times and stealing models, its very likely that part of this thing is stolen

you could take the jbeam ffrom the d series for the hitch and change the slot type to match that of the mod vehicle and then you'd have to change the reference nodes that attach it.

Just add one of these sections to your .jbeam
Top one for the main frame/interior/whatever, and then the bottom one (can be - or +) for doors and such that would obviously change the amount of muffling

Find the vanilla frame jbeam, it'll have a hitch slot. Copy that slot and add it to your mod frame

One is the old one from the mod. Broken, can be ignored or even deleted
the one on the mod dosent work
The frame not showing up is most likely caused by a typo (extra : or } or whatever) somewhere in the .jbeam, but the code in the screenshot he sent seems fine

what do you use for jbeams? Blender seems fine ish for now but it leaves a lot of dead links etc
i use vs coder with the jbeam pugin and you can see your jbeam in the inspector window so if you add nodes or beams it shows immedietly
ahh, but how do you know it alligns properly with the 3d model then
the vs code plugin can import the 3d mesh but i also just use blender
well it was working mine seems to not be working now too

got it go to the 3 dots click editor settings and find and turn it on

if i put straight plane (no road detail like bumps etc.) and change Ground Type to ASPHALT, will BeamNG notice that this is road and will enhance force feedback via "faking" road details? (i have no wheel now unfortunately so cant check)
3rd party repos are invaluable for when inevitability mods get removes from the official repo for one reason or another

asphalt is the material that causes the bumps not because it’s road, but yea I think so bc that’s what I would expect from parking lots , etc (asphalt that isn’t road)
