for good deformation, youll want quads as much as possible
so four verts to a face
yeah i know it's not that easy, but it was to show aproximatively what i wanted to do
for example, to make this side, i basically use two triangle fixtures and 1 square fixture
so in beamng drive, if i collide with something, it with deform like 2 triangle and 1 square
so i would like to do something so beamng drive know that these three piece for example, are one and unique piece that need to deform as one piece, and not as 3 different pieces that can deform into three different ways

funfact: when you press numpad 0, the car goes in a sort of one pedal driving mode until you press the brake again, meaning it holds the brakes, which is useful for loading cars on flatbeds!

Stiffer = vibration into chassis
Softer = vibration in engine
In all performance applications including race cars you want the motor mounts to be as stiff as possible, sometimes even just being hard mounted.
My best guess is making the spring values larger = stiffer, but documentation will be your best freind to confirm if that is true

i think you can just add one in the garage then link the towhitch on the bumper of the other car
working with 3d models and jbeam, blender is what you should use
paint.net is for textures (supports dds and png and is free)
for manually editing jbeam notepad++ with synatx highlight or visual studio code
first you'd have to make a few folders in your mods/unpacked/ (mods/unpacked/modname/vehicles/moddedvehiclename/)

you'd need to copy-paste a towhitch from some vanilla car and paste the jbeam in there
also you'd need to copy-paste the model of the towhitch and put it in a place where it makes sense
*this is all if towhitches are per-vehicle and not in a sort of common thing

Probably something wrong with however you coded in the boost by gear so I’d start there
But certainly having ~4,000hp will cause some engine shake

What does your mod folder look like, Sounds like your missing the Materials file or you are replacing things inside the content folder?
It's just grabbing the uv of the base dashboard and loading it while it loads the race dash

Yes, Everything is specific, And since its loading the UV of the base dashboard it very well seems you didn't do the jbeaming right aswell as the materials file, Make sure you use only the materials for that specific dashboard you are doing.

@dim palm for the too much psi, did you change how much psi the turbo makes for a certain Turbo RPM and the efficiency and stuff? maybe that could be the issue
what are the turbos you are using and is this the right way to do the wastegate pressure for each gear?

also, the problem seems to be your turbo you made yourself, because it gets too much boost for the wastegate to keep up
try taking a turbo from the vanilla scintilla and modifying that one with just the BBG

the commented lines should be enough changes to add BBG to any part you copy from vanilla and change. only thing you need to have in /common is the controller for the boost by gear

unzip the file and drag the vehicles folder into mods/unpacked/bbg
the best way to learn this stuff is to just play around with it and see what happens and studying what someone did etc
they get saved in the cache and sometimes make the mods not work properly so clearing that sometimes fixes texture issues
oh i just realised, if you leave the stock wastegate variables in the wastegate pressures combine

Keep the lines the way i made it first and understand how it works. It seems you added your own slots now and changed something on line 54 where the issue seems to be

No no, like the names of your folders needs to be correct or you need to change the pathing in the jbeam
the issue with just copying modded stuff and changing that is often that it is harder to understand how it works than the vanilla stuff. That is why i made you the part that works with the vanilla Stage 3 Turbo
what you need to do: do this exactly like this or it WILL NOT WORK:
in your mods folder:
- unpacked/BoostByGear/vehicles/common: put the Boost by gear controller here
- unpacked/BoostByGear/vehicles/scintilla: put the modified turbo here
DONT MODIFY THE FILES FOR NOW - fresh download
The controller is inside the zip i made with the name you made for it
the turbo you will easily find as well
if the controller isnt in vehicles/common the turbo wont find it, that is why it doesnt load it
its just locked by the /vehicles/common and the /vehicles/scintilla part
BeamNG figures out where to put the modded parts by that, that is why you cant just expect beamng to know there it belongs

ctrl + l just reloads the LUA but not the vehicle, this is needed to reload what mods are loaded

25sq miles would only be slightly smaller than the GTA5 map

its not a crazy difference, brickolo compared it to his s15 a while back
im curious to see it against sam/ax53/brickolo’s s13 model

the 200bx’s version of the onevia would probably have more resemblance to an actual onevia but the bx’s s13 front does look quite different

Here's a clutch code block with a few lines I made to make an indestructable clutch, you can put it right below the gearbox block

do you have any experience modeling
Modding is very complicated, if you dont have any experience, first try learning the basics doing something like a bodykit or something, where you learn modeling, jbeam and everything. Making a whole vehicle is already way more complicated.

the exhaust is under the map and not in the right side
how can i move it?
Import the model to blender and check if the transforms are applied correctly for the exhaust.
If they are, check if the exhaust mesh is moved in the jbeam.
i did put the model in blender and in blender everything were at the right place except the wheel
The wheels are supposed to be at the origin point.
To apply transforms for the exhaust select the exhaust and press ctrl+a and then click all transforms.
Then check in the exhaust jbeam
If the flexibody is moved.

is it possible to download texture?
cause the windshield when destroyed is covered with "no texture"
open the directory where you save your mods
- create a new folder in /mods/unpacked/, name that folder anything you want.
- create folders: vehicles/"vehiclename" in that created folder
- press "go to user configurations folder" button
- add "configname".pc file from /vehicles/"vehiclename" into your newly created folders
- add a picture: "configname".jpg and an info_"configname".json
- zip the vehicles folder so when you open the zip file there is just the vehicles folder in there straight away and not anotherone to open before that
"vehiclename" obviously gets replaced by the actual vehicles name and "configname" with the configs one
There are some more steps, maybe try opening a vanilla vehicle and see how its made there.

I guess try making the 2nd gen pessima into that using mods or use Automation to make it yourself. There are a lot of mods in this game that enable to get pretty close.
Making a whole car mod just because you asked nicely is really not worth it for anyone, it takes a lot of effort and time to do that. That would be like working for you for free just because you asked nicely and i guess you wouldnt be willing to do that either for someone.

You would have to use a script editor for that, but even then it takes a min or two to reset.
That system is only good for videos not really good for gameplay
