Lol, not to suggest you're wrong, but this was probably filmed at 10 frames and played at 25... so while it looks like a 20mph crash, it was probably not much faster than walking into the wall. But if you'd like some suggestions I'd love to see a Ford Cortina or early Escort, maybe an Anglia.
oh also personal recomendation if youve got no modeling, texturing and beamng coding experience is to not make a car as a first modç
its just a very big task
and most people that do that just give up due to loss of motivation

I won't lie, the effort I'm putting in isn't actually for BeamNG per se, I want to improve my blender game seriously and having something to work on is better for me than making random scenes. My ideal end goal is make some tribute models of the car marque that my dad and I loved the most. I mean I still love them.

They haven't existed since the late 80s/early 90s though, and even then they were essentially just rebadged cars from other manufacturers

this isn't the best structure, but I'd suggest watching it first, then trying yourself whilst looking at time stamps to get what you need. If there's requirements for it, I can make follow up videos too.

it took me a week to model this highpoly m88 engine, a bit of a pain since documentation for it is sparce. it also took like 2 hours to render the entire thing. This will be going into The ETK-I series and a yet to be announced car

For modding, how do modders get their models? Do they make their own models? Must be insanely talented to model them.
Most real life car mods use models from other games, most lore-friendly mods use custom made models.
Though for both cases, there are exceptions.

an entire car could realistically cost you up to thousands of dollars but there’s not many people who offer commissions though you would have to look

How do I fix my brake calibers glitching and pulling the textures between the wheel and car body?
It's a modified version of the carbon ceramic disk that has the brake pads of the normal race brakes
For some reason the calipers only glitch on the front when the front and rear are made the same

A good reference would be all the vanilla cars. Everything has to be pretty similar to a real car and how that works
use the bastion 3d model/textures as a reference. its a very good model and textureset

My recommendation would be to modify a base game car to be something slightly different.
Something like a Coupe LeGran or something

the subsdivision subsurface models before applying the modifier are generally VERY lowpoly so thats why i asked if you had it

you can join fixtures together but you will have to make sure you fix their uv after, as they wont share one until you unwrap the mesh again

I changed the brake pads one the carbon disks to use normal pads intsted of carbon and it made it so the textures pull on the front caliper when the front wheels brake off
But it doesn't on the rear

Yeah because when you use carbon ceramic disc it forces you to use the carbon ceramic brakes
They have their own custom pads
When you use carbon ceramic disc on the scintilla it forces you to use carbon brake pads
So I changed it to use normal brake pads instead of the ones that it forces you to use and it made it to the front calipers stretch their texture when the wheels break off
When it doesn't do that for the rear
why do you want the regular brake pads
Because I'm using the race brake pads on front and semi race on the back like I was told in mfd
just use the vanilla stuff like cmon you dont need to change everything in the car
well then dont use carbon ceramics
carbon ceramic should be the same brake force just with less fade
Literally the only difference between mine and the stock ones is mine have better Cooling from the fact that it's the carbon but also has the power of basic brake pads

have you ruled out syntax errors

And it's made with thousands of 3D fixtures
And in blender, i want to fuse together some fixtures
For example, i have the door trim in automation that is made with around an 100 fixtures , and i want to fuse all these fixtures together in blender, so in beamng drive it deform correctly like if it was one piece
ctrl + J joins 2 meshes
shift + N with the selected vertices merges them
i dont know how they export, if each fixture is its own mesh or if it just shoves it into one whole thing

i think in automation i am at around 2300 fixtures placed, but that doesnt count the mirrored part, if i count them double, i think i must be around the 3500 fixtures

the whole cabin
all the nuts and bolt
the entire fuel lines and their support to attach them to the chassis, etc... i made everything xD
well if i’m brutally honest, you will have to manually retopo the entire model. thats way too high poly for beam to deform correctly. your first step would be to cut it in half down the middle, delete half, and use mirror modifier that way you dont have to hand edit both sides

topology determines polycount
i dont remember exactly where to see polycount
i think on the right next do your view gizmo, theres a little arrow, drag that out and i think its in tools
but to reduce poly, you will have to significantly change the topology and cut out unnecessary loops
basically you are in for a massive amount of work
