happens to me too in vanilla when there's other cars such as traffic or multiplayer. I really wish BeamNG would do something about UI optimizations, the option to entirely cease physics while on UI or something. Just by the name I can already tell what I'm spawning, I'd prefer to spawn it right away. Loads terribly in vehicle tuning too

BeamNG uses crazy amounts of ram and vram, if you have an Nvidia GPU then you might need to keep an eye on your vram usage. Things I've learned anecdotally are;

• You can reduce vehicle loading times by dropping texture graphics, this will significantly lower your ram and vram usage (High texture and mesh graphics can take more than 6gb of vram)
• You can significantly increase your fps by lowering lighting settings (it has the most graphical impact on performance), this will make the game look unbearably shitty especially at night but if you prioritize frames then this will help (also, with the graphics mod turned on and sharpening the shadow quality, it looks unnoticeable with the right settings)

miramar with covet motor, etk i transmission and awd, and 200bx rear suspension

the 200bx rear suspension was actually just drag and drop. all i had to do was rename the suspension jbeam and slot type

plus it has rear disk brakes instead of drums. I'm very happy with this because I tried using the etki suspension before to replace the live axle that came with the miramar but it relied on a lot of nodes that weren't present on the miramar body

I believe I use low (not on my pc rn) but normal is okay too if your vram allows it. As for the graphics mod, I use CK Graphics to sharpen the shadows, in daylight you really can't tell the difference between it and high settings. CK graphics also lets you adjust LOD distance for cases when you're desperately lagging and need a way to cut corners

Check the sound of the car that you want to replace it with, and replace v8_cross_engine with it.
Below the sound there are some variables that you can use to tweak the sound. You should try it out.
Using a different sound for the engine and exhaust also works, I’ve used the sound of the Gavril v8 and the bastion v8 exhaust sound for an engine and it sounded good.

What's kinda sad at the moment is how the Burnside has mostly been forgotten, even though there's lots of mod potential for it since it's the oldest car in the game. Hopefully it gets a remaster in the future.

If you want that to happen, getting someone to do it for you at the same level of quality as the regular BeamNG cars, even with offering money, is more rare than the chances of me getting a PC tower and a monitor that can run this game above 30 FPS any time in the next 5 years

1400 is gonna slow UI more than you think.
