Yeah you could use some more edge loops in places, and merge some of the vertices that don't "flow"

They don't have to be straight necessarily, as long as it flows well you'll be good

What do you mean by flow? Can you some out point it out? The huge line going diagonal is part of the ionic5s design

This is why you call it polyflow, as long as the faces flow in some sense it'll look fine

So you'll want to avoid jagged stuff and try to look at your mesh from different angles like a carpenter would look at a piece of wood along the face to make sure it's straight if you get what I mean

You would have to retopologize in a way that you have fewer tris. Prefer to keep as many quads as possible. Helps a lot in trouble shooting, making edits, and selecting edge loops.

For my truck model, I ensured that I got all quads for the exterior. Still working on the engine and crankshaft, so hopefully I get as many quads as possible there as well.

All they do is crank up some of the settings on vanilla maps. Afaik theres no real graphics mod yet, but you can use reshade. Maybe in the future we will have a proper graphics mod, when mine comes out

afaik there is no difference, everything in /mods/ will be treated the same, regardless of what subfolder they are in (the only exception being /mods/unpacked/)
